How would this Palace squad fare in the current Championship.In my opinion with the lack of commitment and no leadership in the team they would not make the play off positions.I think against teams like Fulham who are outside the top six we would also struggle,who also beat us in a pre season game.Your views.

Well there isn't much point speculating. If we go down we won't have Van Aanholt, Zaha, Benteke, Remy, Sakho, Dann and quite possibly McCarthur.

That in itself tells you your answer. In a hypothetical world where this team drops to the Championship tomorrow and retains form and mentality, we probably finish mid-table.

If this current squad is in the Championship with a full pre-season, no one buys anyone from our squad and all the 'mercenaries' are somehow happy to stay then we walk the league.

But it's pointless because you don't have the likes of Sakho and Benteke in your squad when you're in the Championship.
