Can pinpoint it exactly to when I took the ex to the Chelsea fixture at home last season. Had decent form til then. Convinced the bitch put a curse on us as it all went to s*** (apart from FA cup run) after that match. Had no choice but to jettison her though unfortunately it didn't have the desired effect on results.

When the owners and Pardew decided we were the sort of club that should be signing annoying footballing mercenaries like Emmanuel Adebayor. We are not 'one of those clubs' and it looks like we will pay the ultimate price. I hope Parish has learned something.

Concur with the view that the transfer dealings in the Pardew reign left a lot to be desired. Initially he tweaked the squad and we did well but his big signings Cabaye, Townsend & Benteke we look to have overpaid for useful but some what limited players.
