No. There is bias everywhere, intended or unintended.

However, there is no chance of this one being remotely balanced.

I think with Trump, I don't think its so much bias, but a fairly reasonable hatred, he's even alienated his own government agencies to the point that at least three of the intelligence agencies are investigating him and his cronies who seem to have been falling like mad over the last 12 months.

Even reasonable right wing media seems to have turned on him.

Early days.

I believe it was you(and John Lennon)that said that politicians were not the best people to govern.
Now we have a businessman in charge and some don't like that either.
He claimed to be anti establishment and the establishment sure don't like what he is doing, so up till now he is as good as his word. Or at least as good as any word uttered by a politician.

We need to judge him on results, not a predetermined prejudice.

Well judging by the results so far, one does not need a predetermined prejudice to realise it's going to be a shambles.

Most people don't want to be vegans. They want meat.
Meat is highly nutritional and enjoyable. I detest animal cruelty but I recognise that we have to eat.

I don't want veggie Nazis telling me I shouldn't eat meat. We have evolved to be omnivorous.

I think that most people would become vegans if they understood the benefits for health, the environment and for eradicating world hunger. Unfortunately a lot of people close their minds to the idea of veganism as they think it's too 'extreme.' Fortunately, however, there are more and more vegan/vegetarian books coming out and becoming more popular on subjects such as treatment of animals, healthy eating and impact on the environment. In the future(not too long hopefully) veganism will have become more accepted and embraced than it is now and it will just be an accepted and normal part of everyday life.

I seriously doubt it. People smoke and drink and we all know that will kill you.
I'd also take issue with that statement. There is no proof that eating white meat is bad for health and even red meat is fine in moderation. Only cured meats are harmful according to current thinking. Meat and offal is high in nutritional value and veganism is not a natural state. We are omnivores.

As for the environment. We either breed animals or use up land for crops. Which is better?
World hunger could be eradicated right now if we shared the food around better.

I was never a big meat eater, but after watching a video on how cattle are treated i couldnt eat it again.
Even the milk process, cattle are horribly abused.

Vastly different from what i remember staying on a farm in Devon in the 70's for 2 weeks, and helping the farmer bring in the cows every day from the fields to milk them.

There are huge milk farms, where they keep the cows permanently pregnant and the cows are literally kept in the milk house stall all their lives. When they give birth, if its a girl she gets to live a life like her mother, if its a male its carried off and its throat slit and carcass sold.
When the mother goes mad from the whole process or just cannot produce sufficient/quality milk any longer, she is hung up to die a slow death.

I cant even bring myself to buy milk any longer, i guess i should give up butter.

Why cant we be like the 70's ? get the milk but the cows get to live a good life.

Smoking and drinking don't cause animals to be caged up or abused... There are a lot of doctors coming out now and saying that eating meat is one of the main causes of diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity and a host of other diseases. This is only the beginning. With medical advances the effects of eating meat on our bodies will become more readily known. There is a book called the china study which is based upon the results of a study compiled over 20 years across China into the effects of diet and disease. Its findings showed that those people who lived in areas where the predominant diet was a meat eating one were far more likely to develop diseases such as cancer than those who lived in areas where the diet was a healthy plant based one. It was called "the Grand Prix of epidemiology" by the New York times and was conducted by professors from Cornell university . It's difficult to dismiss findings such as these. Most of the true effects of eating meat will be covered up and hidden from the public as companies like Mcdonald's have too much to lose if more people stop buying meat. As time goes by the truth will become more apparent and as more people stop eating and buying meat our society will hopefully become a more healthy one.

So much for anti-establishment anti corruption, as Purdue has on four occasions personally benefitted from decisions made in office.

The health benefits, as a social statistic, are pretty impressive. 20% reduction in cancer rates for vegetarians and nearly twice that for vegans (as a correlation, not casual factor).

But then if people stop eating meat and dairy, what happens to the animals?

Animals will evolve to make celery grow out of their arses.

I would sympathise if that were actually true.

There is all kinds of spurious claims made about diet in the name of profit making, most of which don't stand up under scrutiny.
Eat what you like, but don't expect others to do likewise.
As far as animal cruelty is concerned. Britain has some of the highest standards when it comes to the treatment of farm animals. I don't say that some practices are not unpleasant and I would be the first to legislate to reduce suffering to a minimum. Sadly there are many situations in the world where there are little or no guidelines or laws to protect animals and any campaign should be directed in that direction.
Expecting people to give up meat and other animal products completely is a non starter.
