With regard to the Gulf War of 1990-91 its not clear why they packed up 150 miles from Baghdad.

Just think how things could have been different but its all history.

I've just given you a good reason. Also, governing a conquered country is difficult and expensive.
What makes you think our exit strategy would have been better the first time anyway?

No comparison. Glitter at least did some good tunes.

They were both leaders after all.
One corrupted Children the other corrupted the government.
Both should be locked up in the same cell.

I think steeleye would have been a fan of Woolworth's pick n mix the way he dips in and out of history selecting the bits he likes and ignoring the bits he doesn't like...

The slimey, odious, lying, little bag of self important piss, that is Tony Blair is now back sticking his oar in over Brexit.

Basically telling people to disregard the democratic process that gave the cnutbuble a platform in the first place.

Should be in prison, biting a pillow, as the population of Iraq queue up and chow down their Viagra.

Also in fairness to the servicemen and women he completely betrayed, each and every person who's ever served should be allowed to kick him in the bollocks with their military issued boots, and then return to the back of the line, to await their next turn.

Iraq would have had the same problems. Which is also one of the reasons why they didn't want to do it. Had they done so, Iraq would have collapsed into a three way civil war, with the Kurdish, Shia and Sunni factions cutting out their own territory.

The only difference would be that the Sunni factions would have been heavily backed by Syria.

Your moral worthiness has been registered.

Quite frankly, I think that being complicit in the deaths of thousands should result in one having a somewhat smaller flatscreen in your cell than a nonce.

Oddly though, only one is even in prison.
