The two Sam's will have had 2 weeks to work on fitness, morale, tactics - pressing, shape etc.

Surely with our squad and a Selhurst crowd behind the lads we should be looking forward to this encounter?

I am.... but accept others may not be as positive?

I just hope our lads put in a shift and the referee/lineos are fair to both teams.

With two weeks to get everyone fit (for the first time since the window) and working well together, I can't see why a turnaround in our fortunes isn't possible.

Unless the 'supporters' screw it up from the stands of course. Somewhat likely unfortunately.

Didn't Palace fans used to support through thick & thin? I'm sure I remember those days (not so long ago either).

It rather depends on what you mean by everyone; Dann is unlikely to play and who knows whether or not Sakho is up to 90 minutes, and there's no return date for Mandanda. Sako, although arguably less important, is also unlikely to be available.

We can't play the game for them and, until this month, the attendees at Selhurst Park must rate as some of the most patient supporters in the country, in light of the dross they've been served up for over a year. Lets hope the managerial tactics and the player performances are deserving of "support through thick and thin" shall we?

I think it probably is for Lincoln City.

As for 'Boro... I think most were pleased with our business in the Jan transfer window.

I'm not going to say I told You So... as it wasn't our best performance of the season but still & much needed home win.
