Sako Must Start! Team For Today

Given the shambolic defensive performances and the two intensive weeks of training, like it or not Sako must start.

My Team for today (4-1-3-1-1)

Hennessey
Tomkins Sako Delaney (Dann if fit) Van Aanholt
Milivojevic
Zaha McArthur Puncheon
Cabaye
Benteke

Wouldve loved to put Townsend in there but rather have somebody who'll sweat red n blue blood. Form wise, theyve both been poor.

Ward has looked increasingly pedestrian as time has gone on. Teams caught on to it a long long time ago. Given the spending spree, surprised we couldnt splash that little bit more for Jenkins so we could play 5 at the back.

As for the formation, the diamond in front of the back four can be six at the back with Zaha and Puncheon providing additional support.

And the main talking point, Sako. Are we really paying a shed load of wages for a guy who'll be fit after we're dead and buried? The Klopp reject needs to show he is anything but and must start. For our sake as well as his own.

Odd selection playing a winger a centre back?

For clarification, it's Sakho not Sako. I doubt Bakary would give us much solidity at the back.

SA has already said that Mandanda won't be starting for a while yet, and you're the second to have a winger as a CB

Doubt whether Ross would wish to come out of retirement to play in defence !!
