We have a striker getting the hump because he didn't receive a pass. In my book that's good, shows willing and want. I would rather that than a striker that doesn't give a toss

I think Benteke needs to show more spirit and skill. As for calling people pr#cks on this forum you need to give parchmore some leeway. He's deeply religious and Likes to save souls. So I'm sure he's remorseful about his actions and asking for forgiveness .

Yet if you were to believe half the posts on here, Benteke apparently doesn't give a damn. Nothing to see here. It was great to see that the players were sufficiently fired up to actually care. It was also great to see some passion in a Palace shirt, and it was also great to see a system that seemed to suit the players and Allardyce. I would guess the players realised the importance of the win, and if the tension overtook Benteke, then good on him. Now all we need is a couple of penalties against West Brom and things will be looking up!!
