the goal he scored yesterday was what i had been hoping for at home all season. Yes he's scored a few headers away (Sunderland and Everton were fantastic) but he has rarely attacked crosses at home. Yesterday he got on the end of a wonderful cross with strength, determination and desire. That's what we paid the big money for and hopefully now we are getting the best out of him. Still offside too much for my liking but a massive improvement on only 4 weeks ago (remember Watford??). Well done

He was good yesterday as well but it's impossible to bully Huth in the same way. Great goal yesterday and he made sure he was going to win the ball. His confidence is coming back and is another who is improving every week. He also looked pissed off at full time that he didn't score more which is good to see.

He wasn't doing enough. Look at many people feelings on Townsend. He's now getting bad to his very best the form he showed at villa. I didn't claim he was rubbish, I stated that he was lazy but to credit of big Sam , little Sam and Christian himself this is the form why we paid the money for Christan.
