I Think, IF we put Hennessey up for sale, (I'm not saying we should by the way). How many premier league teams would want to buy him.
That to me is 'how good' a player they are.
I can't imagine there would be a Q to take him from us.
Which then leaves us with a player that just does enough, is that good enough for the premier league ?

I not denying upgrading Hennessy would be a bad idea but we need to strengthen other areas first, then if money still in the budget. I'd then improve the gk area. Hennessy

Gregory Van der Weil. (Rwb). Schlupp (lwb)

That good enough for us to improve, of course 3 of these players haven't been signed, so it's difficult to judge. Just going off previous paper rumours/

You have never said anything that everybody did not already know , just added a load of OTT criticism that is not justified.
He didn't cost too much and is probably not a top earner.
He does not pick himself for the team , but when he is picked he does the best he can and has done it well enough to keep us in the top flight for 2 and bit seasons.
If we do get a better keeper which we would all like, or even if Speroni gets back to No 1 under Frank he will still be doing a decent job for CPFC.
