No, I would love them to feck it up again but, unfortunately, it looks as it they are not going to bottle it this season.

Ideally I would like them to finish top then it comes out that they forgot to register Murray when he joined in January so they have all the points earned with him in the team since then deducted.

When they are promoted, I just hope that we are still here to welcome them and take 6 points from them.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

God No.

But it looks like they finally will. However, they will need major investment in their squad.

Murray as we and Bournemouth know, is no longer premiership quality nor is Baldock (didn't West Ham have him once and let him go).

Dunk will probably spend more time suspended than on the pitch. The only one that may cut it is Dale Stephens. This Knockeart had his chance before and could not make it in the premiership.

Of course we should want them up and resume
our rivalry.

Ideally I'd like Millwall, Fulham, QPR and Charlton as well - but unfortunately won't see that in my lifetime!

Have a feeling that those who say 'no' are a bit apprehensive they might beat us ...

I enjoy seeing them lose and fail but can't honestly say I hate them. So it would be soooooo much fun if they choked now. Bit I wouldn't care THAT much.

But life is too short to randomly & genuinely hate thousands of people who happen support their local team.

(And let's not do the whole 'they all support big PL clubs' malarkey. No doubt some do, same as at Palace. So what? At least they're not sat in armchairs)

Sorry, but this is true. Every Brighton supporter I have known has always said that they have a Premier league club that they support as well. They will admit that themselves. I have never heard that from a Palace fan apart from someone who has moved to the area and says that they have a soft spot for Palace because they live locally.

And the armchairs were getting pretty worn out during the Withdean years!!!!

Then your "feeling" is wrong, certainly in my case. I just wish them what they wish us; absolutely no success whatsoever. Rivalry doesn't stop because we're not in the same division; have a look at NSC and, to a lesser extent, Away Fans for confirmation. Do you think Millwall have fuzzy, friendly feelings towards West Ham because they're not in the same division?

If it's a one word answer then: No.

If it's not then: F**k no.

But in all seriousness, if they went up and we stayed up I could handle it as it's taken them such an age to get there. But i'd prefer for them to blow their beans multiple times.

Could not agree more. In the back of my mind if they went up they'd get roundly stuffed on a regular basis and I can laugh at them. I have no fears about them doing well in the Premier League. But I still want them to f**k it up again. They are a rival, I wouldn't even lament them ending up in League Two.

Oh, I dream of that James.

I keep reading rumours that Bloom is running out of cash, at last, and that this season is the last roll of the dice, which makes it even more irritating that they look like getting out of a financial hole, especially as they take such delight (still) in our two administrations.

Yes definitely. I don't get any of this hating other teams thing. So if you support Arsenal you have to hate Tottenham, if you support Everton you have to hate Liverpool. Why do you? I'd be pleased for them if they get promoted whether we stay up or not. I think they deserve it.
