Met most of Iron Maiden. used to be in the fan club many years ago and met them at fan club meetings and gigs. Totally down to earth guys, almost a disappointment as it was like talking to your mates down the pub, but genuinely nice guys. See Dickie Davies (yes him from World of Sport) every once in a blue moon. Usually he’s walking his dogs on the downs where I ride. Again, couldn’t wish to meet a nicer gentleman.

I was in the same class at school as Neal Purvis, screenwriter of the last few Bond films, Johnny English and SS-GB. A weasely, smarmy little turd, disliked by staff and pupils alike.
