[Link] McCarthy got sent off at 52nd min, and we were pretty much all over them, if I remember rightly. On a side-note, that was one of Emmanuel Adebayors appearances, coming on in the 2nd half so maybe no surprise we didn't score..

Ahaa, but that player would still have to leave the pitch after receiving some treatment, and we wouldn't have been allowed to take the freekick with Niang still sobbing and rolling around. Do you travel to matches from Penzance PZ Eagle?! That's one hell of a journey if so! Beautiful part of the World and really off topic but The Pirates Of Penzance was excellent at the Minack Theatre about 20 years ago. The Pirate boat sailing into the sunset was like the end of Goonies! 10/10

I haven't been to a Palace home match since my mum left Croydon after my Dad died but did go up to Plymouth for a couple which we lost. Used to be a Friend of the Minack and loved going to shows but getting a bit old now to sit on a cliff and climbing up to get out after the show. If I won the lottery I would fly up for home games but then if wishes were horses beggars would ride!.

It would seem that since promotion we have been 'awarded' 8 red cards, with none so far this season, and only 2 of those being straight reds - KG and Yannick. 2013/14 2014/15 2015/16 From that alone you can see that 3/4 of the times we lose a player, we lose the match, and that is only away from home. Does this highlight the additional pressure we put on our team to win when we are a man up, or is it just coincidence? The amount of times we lose with a man over does not seem to correlate with oppositions' reds, but I'm struggling to find any solid stats regarding opponents' teams' reds though and the resultant score-lines.

Oh ok. I assumed you meant a watford player was sent off. Just to clear up i watched on an online stream, and was aware Niang was injured when the goal was scored just didn't connect that for what you were saying. What i was more happy with was that the foul that led to the goal was Pudl trying to get back at zaha for his earlier punch/throw, which directly led to our goal through a deeney own goal. Comedy gold.

All too often it has been Wilf who gets more wound up and gets cautioned, hopefully BigSam can point this out to him. ..mind you, his arm swing at Prödl could've been treated very differently.
