I used to have an Iranian exile working for me who described himself as an atheist Muslim. I couldn't really get my head around it, but he said it was more complicated than 'whether you believe in Allah or not'. He said it was more like being born of a Jewish mother making you Jewish, no matter what you actually believe yourself to be.

That said I used to know an Ishmalli girl when I worked in Slough and she was a total party animal, and probably had more sexual conquests than most men I know, and she was far more religious than he was.

My stance is that you can't build enough houses for a population that is growing by 300,000 a year.
You can't properly fund an NHS that caters for 300,000 (plus tourists)more people a year plus more old people and more services.
