I'd prefer to bring in a younger goalie like Bentley of Brentford as number 3. Hennessy as number 2 and Begovic or hart as number 1. With Steve departing. Damo best days are behind him and even you mentioned being 4th choice that means he not good enough for first team. If we're to sign Sakho and a maguire or Gibson then Delaney not needed. Football about opinions. It time to revolve the squad and plan for the future and keeping Delaney 35 and speroni 37, is delaying the inevitable.

I'd agree it is delaying the inevitable but I'd also say that with so many players being out of contract and likely leaving I'd probably hold on to two of the old guard to keep the palace dressing room spirit. To many changes might not be a good thing.

It's likely Mandanda and or WH will be moving on. Do we really want to change all three keepers?

Players contracts up:
Hennessy - If Mandanda stays then release. If not keep.
Speroni - 12 month contract extension.
Fryers - Depends what Sam thinks
Kelly - Release
Flamini - 12 month contract extension if Sam is happy with him in the squad.
Delaney - 12 month contract extension
Appiah - Release
Ledley - If Flamini stays Ledley goes and vice versus.
Campbell - Release

I've been thinking about this for a while and I think it's kinda bonkers to think we could let half our squad go in a single transfer window. So above are the five I think we'll move on.

You must be living in fantasy land if you think we have any chance of signing Hart

Hennessy -Release- do not think he is good enough as a number 1 but good squad player, doubt he would stay if he was not no.1. Not sure if mandanda is fancied by allardyce, but id imagine allardyce to be in for a goalkeeper in the summer, perhaps Adrian of West Ham.

Speroni- keep -squad player with a view on a future coaching career.

Fryers- release- have abundance of left backs when soaure is fit. Not premier league standard.

Kelly- release- nowhere near premier league standard- would expect new blood such as jenkinson coming in to challenge ward ar right back. Kelly is much poorer than ward.

Flamini- release- forgot he was even at the club, disappointing how little he has played and wasn't the replacement for Jedi we thought he would be.

Delaney Keep- i personally would keep damo, but i think he will be released due to age. Damo is a good squad player but depends on how many centre backs we are planning on signing. I never thought damo would last this long when first signed, which is a credit to him. More sentimental than realistic probs here.

Appiah- Release- he is now 26 and due to persitent injury has been unable to get any game time at Palace which is a shame as when he broke into the Ghana team and we were short on strikers he may of been in with a sniff. Can't seem him being given a shot as he is unproven and not exactly a up and comer.

Ledley- Release- if we stay up i cannot see Ledleys first team chances improving. We have had good service out of him but think he will be moved on as we look to progress. If relegated may be worth a contract offer.

Campbell - Release- won't fit our style of play, could be useful if 2 up front. Despite his work rate, not good enough as a prem striker.

Whilst all 3 could be shaky including Adrien surely Mandanda will be given another go ? Top Ligue 1 goalie last season so must have something. if not try to prise Begovic away. To be honest I'd go all out to get Sakho, release a few defenders and replace with another quality addition at the back. Allardyce will sort out the defence as he has now. Think we will be stronger at the back, next season come what may.

Hennessy - keep, relatively cheap.
Speroni - keep as above
Fryers - let go
Kelly - let go
Flamini - let go
Delaney - keep
Appiah - let go
Ledley - keep
Campbell - let go.

Five at least to go. Replacing them will cost a fee as well as probable increased salary. Plus a few others need to go like Mutch and Lee. Rebuilding needs to evolution nor revolution

Every game Millen has managed, Speroni has started

Whether that the case. Does that justify speroni being a prem number 1 in 2017.

Depends largely on what division we are in as none of these would be / could be / should be too proud to play Championship football, except maybe those old enough to retire, which would be Delaney, Flamini and possibly Speroni. Speroni would be kept at the club in a coaching capacity or as third choice if we cannot replace him or other keepers.

Players contracts up:
Hennessey - Keep but 2nd choice next season
Speroni - Keep but maybe offer another coaching role
Fryers - Release/sell
Kelly - Keep as back up/squad player
Flamini - Release
Delaney - Release
Appiah - Not sure
Ledley - Release/sell
Campbell - Release/sell

Personally the only one I would keep is one of the gk as a 3rd choice maybe speroni. If we're to move to the next level. It's time to improve the squad.

Truly amazing!
Ward, Punch and Dann all make our team - none have been capped.
Mark Bright and Jim Cannon were also never capped!
In no way whatsoever does not being capped for Argentina mean Speroni is/was no good.

So according to you we offer speroni a new deal because of saves he made in 2015. That's was 2 half years ago. Football not a charity case it's a business. Speroni 37 and he had one very good season in the prem. The rest of his best years were in the championship. If you was in charge we'd still have ramage,Murray and jedinak. Get in the real world. You stand still in football. You go backwards
