Said this consistently for years and got hounded for it. You need a silky player like Wilf on the left to get the best out of him, for too long we've tried to discipline him as a right winger who whips ball in and judged him on aspects that just were never really his game! He needs freedom to take players on and shoot. The questions about his end product IMO have always stemmed from the fact he's been asked to do a role that doesn't suit him! (And still managed to do pretty damn well on the right)... I think a run on the left will bring out a whole other level to his game. Take Ronaldinho, Neymar for example - not saying Wilfs on that level but can guarantee players of that style would all be significantly less effective out on the right.
