If rumours about Neymar are to be believed then if Wilf goes anywhere, it won't be Chelsea.

the dignified don't even enter in the game

Seen this so many times before.

Palace player comfortable at Palace. Is big fish in little pond. Moves to big pond and doesn't achieve anything of note.

But for every Wayne Routledge there is a Nathaniel Clyne or Jose Fonte who both achieved a great deal since leaving us

Whats he going to be worth when he stops falling over whenever someone brushes past him

He'll get 15 penalties next season if he's playing for Spurs/Liverpool/Chelsea !!! Big club syndrome..

To be fair to Routledge he has had a decent career in the PL. hardly Bostock

Also think Zaha has the most raw natural ability of any Palace player I've ever seen. Whether it's too late to completely nurture it is yet to be seen but if a top manager believes in him and can get the best out of him he may well achieve more than even someone such as Clyne

We're the Arthur over ere!

The man comes from Thornton Heath.

Wherever he goes I will follow and support him, he is one of our own. Just like Victor Moses and Nathaniel Clyne.

Now this is what I will never get.
I'm Selhurst born and bred but when a player leaves us, no matter where he comes from, I don't care about them anymore. Why would you?
I only care about the players playing for us right now.
When they go then they're nothing to me.
I support The Palace. Not one particular player.
No matter how good they are.

I support Palace because it's part of my community. If I didn't come from round here I wouldn't support them. I will try to look after and support anyone from my community. To me Palace and South London are totally intertwined. You can take the man out of South London but not South London out of the man. If they move on its still in the blood.

If it was in the blood then they'd stay with us but that's all bollocks!
They go for more money/to further their career.

Like I say, players come and go. All the time they're playing for The Palace then I'll love 'em unconditionally. Unless they're called Trevor Aylott.
Once they're gone though...who should care?

During our promotion season I thought that Wilf could go to the very top and now he finally seems to be making the next jump. I really hope that he stays with us next season to continue his development but for that to happen we have to pay him more than anyone else at the club - he's worth that and if/when he does leave we will get one hell of a transfer fee.
No doubt Steve Parrish wants to be sure of staying up first but he really needs to tie Wilf down quickly with a new contract.

I lean towards Sizlak on this.

If I claimed I follow and support ex Palace players I'd be lying. I might be interested in how they're doing more than years ago now that the money can set you and your family up for life is so huge that you'd be a fool to turn it down or not prefer to have your agent put feelers out there so I don't blame them. But there's a difference in following and supporting someone and showing an interest.

I follow and support Palace. I show an interest in how past players are doing. Excellent, good, average, bad, whatever. 'Support' them? What? I don't wish any bad fortune on them but I don't support them.
