His signings have worked, his tactics have started to work. He acknowledged the fans anger at the Sunderland performance, and it has been better since.

If we stay up, there may be times when our football won't be good. I just hope we are more grateful than those West Ham and Newcastle fans and can appreciate the tactical decisions he makes.

He's like Pulis Extra

Reality is, he's who Pulis aspires to be.

Let's be honest, he was the manager we needed, not necessarily the manager we wanted. You know exactly what you get with SA, he knows his stuff, he grinds out results on a shoe string and gets signings that make a difference.
Parish banged on about signing players that not only play the way palace require, but to add to the dressing room. Pards brings in Cabaye, tells the squad 'if you want what he's got, do what he does' then brings in Adebayor who does nothing, squad players get let goal in the name of transitioning into an evolved team, you get what i am saying, but then SA brings in 4 players that totally fit the palace DNA mould. The way they take selfies after the game, it's not particularly important, but great to see - in it together.
He saw the need to install character and go back to what palace is all about. He has made Punch capt, local lad, passion and desire over everything, set the team up his way and it's clicking. The fitness is definitely there - 100 minutes and we were resolute to the end.

Sure, we just played two games where the first game we didn't have any shots on goal and won by an own goal, the second was parking the bus and squeaky bum time, but it's 6 points. What more do you want.

He's doing a fine job, as expected.

Spot on. Our shape is so much better and far more efficient. He said it would take time, it did, and now we are reaping the rewards !

I think he had a fair amount of warnings. He was on a yellow and was still picking fights throwing out insults. He will be back with a new username I'm sure.

Haha, it is nice what a good run of results can do. I had started to think we'd never get out of that hole.

What a blinder. They said he took a while to get Sunderland going. After the 4 nil at home to Sunderland I couldn't see us getting a draw the rest of the season. Fair play Big Sam.

Well said mate.

Blimey. Last week you still couldn't stand him because we had no shots on target although several decent chances in on goal. This week those chances in on goal became shots on target and goals. And we still had a chance of do to score again.

The turnaround was slow because of the shambolic manager before. Fitness, prep and tactics were a joke. Sacking Garner, bringing in novices beneath him and useless transfers. Grind out results consistently and you get a surprise win. Well we've just had 2 doing it that way rather than the possibility of naff all under super who.

Sam is a pro. Pardew is a blagger. Each week more people see this is the case.

Thought sam done a blinder when Damo came on. switching to three at the back plus two wing backs meant Chelsea couldn't expose Damos pace.

Simple tactics but that's the stuff that's been lacking.

I'm gonna start a Facebook appreciation group for that particular substitution, absolute class.

Skyped my Dad as he's away in Denmark, and of the 15 minutes about 7 were taken up with that piece of tactical genius !!

36m in the window and about 100 trillion an hour for The Beast (worth every penny) is a pretty f***ing decent shoestring
