They are banned, I don't want to see action taken against us and this could potentially happen as the FA would love us as a scapegoat. I don't see why they are necessary. If they were not in the ground yesterday would it have changed a thing? No, but it would have been better for us and the police and stewards. I just don't think it's worth it.

Stupid and obnoxious. I don't see how it even adds to the atmosphere - I think people like to set them off purely because they're not allowed and they enjoy breaking the rules.

you do have to have a bit of a brain cell missing to bring one into a ground like chelsea with all the cctv & then let it of, its is an offence under that random football act, if caught you will be arrested and liable to have a football ban, also they are bloody dangerous if they are marine flares these numpties have acquired...and all that smoke is annoying! They're justified, and they're ancient And they drive an ice cream van

Totally agree, going away to chelsea now, is nowhere as bad as in the good ole days, bad ole days depending on your viewpoint...
