See Garth's Team of Week on BBC website, must be the first time there's been 4 of our players. If it was down to me, it would be all 11.

Make him an offer he cant refuse....well his agent anyways. Id love for him to stay, as has already been stated by everyone on here.

IF, & its a fairly big if, he does go, apart from the usual negotiatons that go on, sell on fee etc, couldn't we(cpfc) insert into his new contract at another club, that he is NEVER allowed to play against us(ever)?

Well, players usually cant when on loan, so why not

Chicken and egg. Any team who can afford him - both purchase price and salary - is going to be a big one. Thus he will have less guaranteed playing time. We can pay him the 110+k he merits, because we haven't had to pay...what? 50, 60, 70 mil for him?

We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football.

£110k and a five year contract is less than £30m. It's a no-brainer to offer that. More if needed.

Systematically dragged down by the lawmakers

It really is an obscene amount of money. It would be if it was an annual salary, or monthly even, but to get that much a week is crazy. Yes, I know other players get that and a lot more more - doesn't make it right. Zaha already has Noades' old mansion with indoor pool - what more does he need? One day the game will implode.

Agreed. And I hope the pl bubble does one day burst because even though there's a lot of money, it's all just going to agents and players, what good is it actually doing for grassroots football?

Staying on topic I think we should pay him the market rate and get rid of a few to cover the rise.

Crazy isn't it. Money that they simply cannot spend. Especially as a top athlete who is on call 9 and a half months of the year.

This offer will end Spurs interest, there is no way they would come close to offering wilf that sort of deal on top of what would be a huge transfer fee. Glad Parish has stepped up, Wilf deserves a new deal.
