Sam is great, initially people thought he lacked passion or belief because he appeared so downbeat, and he was too honest for some.
But that's him he says it like it is.
And look at his work in the transfer market, the guy is a genius.

I actually think Sam may have learnt from this most recent shenanigans with England. He slagged off his employer and they sacked him for it. His past too has great big blots in the copy book, but the here and now is what matters. I wasn't sure either about Sam, but it is nice to be proven wrong so sweetly.

So I manage a Workshop which provides a safe learning environment for blokes struggling with PTSD and other mental health issues. Being a Palace fan isn't listed yet.

He has much more in his locker than just being a manager for a relegation battle. If that is what you are implying?

True, and hopefully we will see it next season. We are already seeing solid improvements in players, fitness, concentration and tactics which are more than a trasient "manager bounce". But Parish himself said "Sam is the best there is at making sure a club doesn't get relegated".

Quite amusing to see Mouinho throwing his players wbo cost ten times as much under the 'bus and wondering why they're not winning the league for him.

The building we're doing now looks lasting and solid. Hopefully the toilet around us will run out of new manager bounce soon and the real investment and developent Sam and Sam are putting into the squad will see us overhaul a few of them. And with that we won't sink back into s***e next season either. Excellent.

You can bet Jose had tried to get Shaw or before that the Chelsea players to put the hard work in and this is a last resort. The bigger question should be why did the England manager pick Shaw yet not be bothered about losing Wilf.

he's a football manager, what did/do you expect? they're all a bit wonky

Well done Tim Gypsy Hill for sticking your hand up! Sadly if you go back to the threads around when SA was first appointed there are still many more posters still to acknowledge the fine work that is being done by SA and his coaching team. January signing were great, the fitness levels are improving, confidence in the squad is up and now the results are flowing.

Watch the blokes presser for Saints game and all doubters will realise tout suit how good a manager this man is.
In my opinion he is as good as Mourinho, Wenger,Conte and the rest.
