I don't get where everyone suddenly thinks we're going to beat leicester from. They're no longer leaking goals and are much closer to their form of last year with the usual supsects all playing to a much higher level.

Whilst we also have picked up hugely, i think this has draw written all over it.

We aren't suddenly going to beat them. We are going to beat them next Saturday betwixt two tough Champions' League fixtures. Yesterday they were dire for a lot of the game, and Sunderland could have done a lot better (and that's from a friend who is a LCFC fan and was there).

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

delighted that leicester are now on 36 points. This may reduce the urgency of their league performance against us. It could be a very nice 3 points for the Eagles.

LETS HOPE and pray that the Atletico vs Leicester game is a brutal bloody affair with much injuries, blood, sweat and tears. With the outcome finely in the balance for the return fixture in the midlands.

thus, they will not be fielding a strong team against us.

Sunderland used up all their goals against us. They haven't scored since. They are f***ed.

I'd like a £1 for every time I've heard we're going to definitely beat this or that team because they're going to be focused elsewhere, will be tired and shagged out, will play a weakened side, don't need the points, etc, etc. It's usually just before we have our arse handed to us.

At the moment all the teams from 10th place down are in the mire.
It all it needs is a dodgy penalty awarded against us, a red card
injuries that take 2 weeks or more to clear up.
Everyone is capable of beating us and we are capable of beating them .... just depends on the day.
Its gonna be nail biting and intense .. but you know what I wouldn't have it any other way ..... thats the Premier League for you

Leicester won and that was ok cause it might take som pressure of them before we meet them. And they are busy with Europan fotball before and afther visiting Selhurst.
Think it eas a good result though.
We just got to make shure we pick up points tonight and keep the good flow going

Draw would probably be an alright result for us. They're looking much more like the team that won the league, than the team that got their manager sacked.

Burnley and Hull are probably the vital MUST win games. A point at Southampton and a point elsewhere should keep us up.

Hopefully, then again I'd rather they played the same team as the champions league, as the players might be more worried about 50-50's and missing a champions league game.

Any 'second string' player they put on is going to be out to prove themselves worthy of making that champions league first team (and they'll probably want to use their CL bench team to give them a run out).

I'd like a $ for every time you've used the phrase I'd like a £1 for every time I've heard...

Totally agree though. It never works.
