Remy hasn't worked out with us but would have been a great signing if he was able to stay fit. Benteke and a fit Remy would be one of the best front lines in the league. Pardew had him playing well at Newcastle and assuming he was given the green light from the medical then signing him made sense.

I really can't believe that Jonathan Benteke was purchased to actually play for us in the Premiership as he has no pedigree and was even released by his previous club ( S.V. Zulte Waregem ) so I wouldn't rely on him to provide cover for us Benteke, C's agent clearly drove a hard bargain.
