It's an unusual one this season, because the teams going down have a few decent players, or players with some potential, between them. I am not sure we have a prayer with Sigurdsson but Fabianski and Llorente might be others who would interest and I wouldn't be completely adverse to Routledge coming back as cover for Zaha and Townsend.

The results went our way again, Hull and Swansea lost completely winnable games - particularly Swansea who looked like they were on the sort of self-destruct form that relegated teams often show.

those Swansea b....stards just managed a jammy draw at old Trafford.

ManUre are not very good this year. Injury crisis. Lets hope we can get something from the Trafford game. Notwithstanding our own injury crisis.

Eze Peasy at Anfield....

Don't rule out a Boro surge.

Boro need to do a Palace and that's unlikely

Boro are beating City right now and for us to be completely safe, we must beat Hull.
Plain and simple.

Interestingly, the bookies have us at longer odds than Watford to go;

Boro 1/50
Swansea 1/2
Hull 9/5
Watford 52/5
Palace 20/1

We've come in from 45/1 after the Swansea result.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

Wow, I didn't realise Watford had such a tricky run in.

Well all the way through the Swansea v Man U match the commentators were talking about Swansea and Hull battling it out for who would go down. Discussed it about a dozen times I think.

Number of times they mentioned Palace: 0.

Every non-Palace supporter I've spoken to seems to think we're worrying about nothing.

And that makes me all the more worried.

It's Palace, of course we should be worried. Swansea have three games against teams with nothing to play for we have the exact opposite and we can't win at home.
Obviously with nothing to play for they could be relaxed and play well, but I just don't buy into that school of thought.
Too long in the tooth to be confident about Palace.

If our losing run continues, confidence won't be that great by the time we get to Old Trafford.

So I'm not as relaxed as I would like to be.

Whoever plays in goal for Man City, I hope he has an off day.

Whoever plays in goal for Palace, I hope he has on day.

Are any of our crocks like to be fit again for this match?
