Not only are Pepsi scared of their own shadows when advertising.... Cadbury's are frightened of putting "Easter" in their latest chocolate egg hunt FFS.

No one forced them to withdraw it, they chose to after the negative attention. It was a poorly conceived campaign, easily parodied, and any proper review of it should have had someone thinking twice. Apparently it was all done by the internal team rather than by any external agency. Maybe Pepsi will learn from it. Do I think the outcry is a (massive) over-reaction? Probably. And this ladies and gents is why we are a nation of apologists, it was a woman giving a police man a can of drink. I'd get the moral outrage if she dropped to her knees took his truncheon out and gave him a sloppy blozzer. She handed him a drink, no different to the "flower Power " photo that was nominated for a Pulitzer in the 70's. Get a f***in grip.
