It is good that that Trump has done something to counteract the eight years of inaction and appeasement under the weak government of Obama.

all politics. he spends almost $100M on bombs but the syrians already knew the bombs were coming and abandoned the place. using the same base to launch new attacks the next day.

doing SOMETHING doesn't mean it was helpful in any way. assad needs taken out but i'm not giving trump any credit.

Didn't six die in the attack?

A red line was crossed that Obama did nothing about and you give no credit.

Says it all really.

2 weeks ago Trump says he isn't seeking regime change in Syria, Assad was winning this war he then decides to f*** it up for himself & gas almost exclusively children & bombs hospital which makes absolutely no sense.
Trump does a complete u-turn Pissing off a healthy chunk of his voters by following exactly the same course of action Hillary Clinton wanted to take which is more bombs & decides to bomb the s*** out of an airfield in Syria whilst sitting down for dinner with the Chinese president, meanwhile if the video I've seen is accurate the airbase has suffered next to no damage.

It's all just f***ing stupid & dangerous war games..

Slightly early for these comments let their be an investigation.

Although the Russian explanation is unlikely there have been accounts of Islamist rebels using chlorine and blaming the Government, Sarin would be the next step.

As a supporter of the Jewish ultra right, what type of Government would you want in Syria?

Be careful, old chap...people might form the view that you (when unguarded) see no distinction between zionists and Jews per se...the kind of thing closet anti-semites (not to be confused with anti zionists per se) so vehemently deny is the case

Why don't you and Peffers get together and have the first ever matt_himself trolling society circle jerk evening?

You can look deep in each other's eyes whilst tutting at my posts.

It will be like when Clowns and Br*ghton play each and sing 'we hate Palace more than you' at each other.

It was a serious suggestion.

You are both ageing wishy washy liberals.

Problem is the best outcome in Syria for us is probably an Assad loyalist victory. The rebels aren't like to win and have too many different factions, the Kurds aren't really interested in ruling the whole country and the remaining faction is IS and to a lesser extent al-qeadia aligned groups.

No the best outcome is for one or more of Kim Jong Un's nuclear missiles to go wildly off course and blow Syria (or what's left of it) off the face of the Earth.

Yet another opportune moment to post up my favourite picture that sums up the Middle East...
