I know a charlton fan he was unfortunately born that way. But he was the first to congratulate when I stuck result on FB. He said similiar. I was surprised. He's not a bad bloke.

Inspiring stuff. But the writer assumes we will start next season with the same squad, plus reinforcements, when the probability is that we'll lose Wilf, Cabaye wants to go back to France, Sakho says he'd like to play for Liverpool again...?

All unfounded speculation.

I think if we do finish playing the same way as we have for the last 6 games, we will keep most of our players.

Wilf is CPFC and proud
Cabaye looked like he loved Palace on Monday.
Sakho also looked like he loved the Palace as well.

Lets not put a dampener on everything. We are now at last going in the right direction all together.

That's the turd in the punchbowl isn't it? We've finally got a decent first 11 and the makings of a decent squad, playing well for a good manager, and we could potentially have to rebuild it all again in the summer. And if you lose key players it becomes all the more difficult to attract quality replacements. I hope that Sam and Parish are successful in keeping the talent, otherwise we take two steps forward and one back every season.

Good read, thanks. Interesting that he spotted the positions to upgrade were right back and the keeper, pretty spot on imo.

Contrast that with this pile o' s***e from Paul Wilson at The Guardian.

Wilson gets, rightly, slammed in the comments section.
