What is tragic is how difficult it is for people to get any kind of therapy until they've been convicted of a sexual offence - and even then sex offender rehabilitation programs in prison are poorly funded at best (despite having a surprisingly high level of effectiveness).| derby eagle Derby 21 Apr 17 1.02am |

I agree with the sentiment though and clearly prevention before conviction would be massively beneficial to all our communities. Personally I just found the irony very amusing!

In their 'tormented' minds they could commit suicide before offending if they were so desperate to stop themselves but they must make a choice not to. As in, they have the ability still to make choices. The real tragedy is that some of them will have been abused themselves as children. Maybe there is a tie-in with the level of abuse and age, etc, and stalled development as to the likelihood of someone like that becoming an abuser. The help should be administered as a pre-emptive perhaps so that abused kids are steered away from the future you mention.

I'll make sure I give you credit when I take this to BBC Three. I think to complete the love triangle, I'll have the MILFy mum of one of the kids have a thing for Keith that he is utterly unaware of because she's over 14.
