Athletico 1 Leicester 0 - a result which gives them every incentive not to turn up at the weekend.

A perfect result. Nothing more to be said.

Agree with what you are all saying about remaining focused, playing our own game etc. but yes, this is the best timing for our game against Leicester.

They are virtually safe and there are enough games left for them to not need to put all their first team players into the match at the weekend. The Champions League is of course their focus this week.

They have a decent squad though and there will be a lot of players looking to prove their worth, so regardless of the names on the team sheet, our players will have to bring their best and look to take maximum points.

A suspended Robert Huth makes it more crucial for Leicester to have Wes Morgan for the 2nd leg, so there seems no chance they'll risk Morgan against us and he's a bigger loss to them, I'd say.

With Huth missing the 2nd leg they probably won't risk Morgan at the weekend to give him a few more days as they will need him next week.

Perfect result for us, they'll fancy themselves at only 1-0, still not easy for us, but they will still have one eye on Madrid Wednesday. Smash em. They won't get anything if they don't play us full on.Its not happening, 3 points ,time to give it some.

Time will tell I guess. I remember Sam saying it's hard to follow up a big result in the following match. Like Chelsea and a tired below performance ends in a defeat at Southampton. I'd be more than happy with a draw against Leicester. It's just goes to show how lucky we've been with Benteke not getting injured as remy and Campbell have been injured most of the season.

We fell apart v Southampton because Cabaye went off. Then we had a DM (Luka) but nobody to press the ball or put pressure on the passer. Punch, Sako, Wilf and Townsend is not a midfield.

I am very pleased at this result. It gives Leicester pause for the league game at the weekend, and it also means they have a real shot at making the semis, which is hilarious.

We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football.

McArthur is back fit. He wasn't available vs. Southampton.
