I've noticed that the only chant we've really got for any of our newish players is to the tune of Seven Nation Army, which in my opinion could be a lot better.

Benteke
I saw someone post on here:

Oh Benteke, bam da bam! (repeat)
[Link] (around 1:10)

Sakho
I suggested:

Mama's hard as f***, he's made of concrete,
When he plays for Palace, he keeps a clean sheet!
[Link] (around 1:30)

Townsend
All I got for now is "Andros Townsend baby, Andros Townsend ooooh," but I've been playing with this [Link] but it might be too slow.

Bonus:
Hennessey
I think the one we have is fine, but wanted to chuck one in there:

We're the famous Crystal Palace,
And we've got Wayne Hennessey,
Hennessey! Hennessey!

Previous sung by villa fan on train
For Benteke
There was a striker a Belgium striker,
Called Christian Benteke,
A Wimb way, a wimb way

Hibs fans used to have a song about our towering centre half, goal-scoring, 2007 cup winning captain Rob Jones to the tune of Spandau Ballet's Gold that would work well for Scott Dann: [Link]

It's difficult to hear but sure there are other videos. I know he's injured (so maybe not so indestructible) but it's a great tune and Dann's been here long enough to deserve his own chant.

Always believe in Scott Dann
He has the power to score, he's indestructible
Always believe in...

@Dan yeah I remember that video doing the rounds on Facebook and stuff. Dunno why it is, but never thought it was all that great.

@Hibs. I like that one.i just about made it out. It's to the theme of Gold by Spandau Ballet, right?

Yeah it's Gold by Spandau Ballet. Good song for a football chant, surprised it's not used more often. Haven't heard it anywhere else.
