One game at a time. I'd take a draw (or win) at Anfield. Spurs at home very tough. Draw again would be good. Hopefully by Burnley at home one more win would get us to 40 points. I think we still need 2 wins from 6 remaining cup finals.

I think you will find both our next two matches are tough and without Sakho it's highly unlikely we will get anything at Liverpool? And Spurs will be even tougher in their present form. Burnley at home will be difficult if we have lost those last two matches? It's going to the wire especially if Hull, Swansea and Bournemouth start picking up points? We have been great lately and thank goodness for Alardyce.

Apparently they're quite easy to beat when they're away from from home. They haven't won away. Yet...........

i am very aware of burnley s away record ,under normal situations we should beat them but my point is we have 2 very tough games just before we play them liverpool away and spurs at home, burnley will be very tough for us to beat I.M .O

But they still could and stranger things have happened. Beating Burnley and Hull then I agree we're safe but we really need 4 more points heading to Old Trafford than where we are now. Where they come from I don't care but I really want us to destroy Burnley in the first half hour so we can all "relax".

If Swansea lose 2 & draw 1 they can't theoretically catch us 'cos of our GD. &pts won't be enough for them. Boro have an outside chance with their extra games but have only scored about 20 goals this season..so if they lose tonight they're in a worse position than Swansea.

So we all know what will happen when they come to Selhurst then.

The problem we have is 3 games in 7 days with the so called easy game being the last one! What does Sam do? - rest a few against the Scousers along with Sakho? I think he may have to. Surely he will target the Burnley game as the best chance of 3 points so he won't want to risk everyone in the other 2 games which will be much harder. Our bench on Saturday did look better than previously but we don't have great cover for our 3 front men who we will definitely need at their best to break Burnley down.
With our great results against Chelsea and The Gooners we should fancy our chances against anyone but we have to be practical. The home crowd deserves the best in the Spurs and Burnley games so maybe Sam will play more of the reserves at Anfield. I definitely don't see our best players staying on for the whole 90 minutes !

A win and a draw from the last six should do it for us. That would leave Swansea needing four wins from their last five.
Best win possibilities are clearly Burnley and Hull (though let's hope it does not come down to the Hull match to make us safe).
For the draw, I would have said Liverpool, but we will be missing Sakho. But in light of the Arsenal and Chelsea results, we could get a point (or more) anywhere.

D.Delaney will come in for Sakho and Van Aanholt will come in for Schlupp against Liverpool and Benteke will score the winning goal -
- easy 3 points.

I genuinely think that if we didn't get another point now we'd still probably stay up.

they really have to win 3/5 remaining. that's if we only get one point the rest of the way. not happening.

I can't wait for the Spurs game. We could be safe by then and anyway it's our game in hand so it doesn't really matter what happens. So let's just enjoy it and get behind the lads. Well, I know it doesn't quite work like that but hey I'm feeling comfortable.

6 points in our next 2 games should do it.
