I wasn't a Sam fan but I am now. He has transformed us and i'm happy to say I was wrong not wanting him at se25. Might get a contract extension if likely he keeps us up.

I would like to think our players should not be "switched off" after 6 minutes or forget something as fundamental as that? If Big Sam did warn them, then it's a poor show by our lads.

I read an article where Sir Sam said that he did drill the players about the throw-ins and he said that Mili 'forgot'. Sir Sam cannot be blamed for any games lost by Palace this year as he has not put a foot wrong as this thread indicates. Sam's performance has been nothing short of magnificent - I still am spun out by how great he has been. We were easy-beats. Even Sunderland thrashed us 0-4 at home and look where they are on the table. Now, we are PL giants that NO-ONE wants to play. He's made everyone in the team fitter, meaner, better and how he healed our self-destructive suicidal mania in such a short time I will never ever know. An amazing man and an amazing manager. Well spoken - very intelligent and thoughtful public comments - gives in-depth analyses even on TV - humble - down-to-earth - knows what to say in the difficult moments like when addressing supporter's vocal reaction to the SUnderland debacle, and won the fans support. LONG LIVE SIR SAM! Our best manager ever.

They had the same assignments for subsequent long throws as they did for the first one. This shows that Sam's statement is correct - they'd drilled for it, they just screwed up the first one. You're smelling something that isn't there.
