The referendum was taken, and UKIP got the result it wanted - Its job done now. I don't think they're going to achieve much coherency now without Farage at the helm.

From a union 'source ' Just heard from a very good source, who has spoken to the original investigation team, that the DPP will shortly announce prosecutions of up to 24 Tory MPs over the election expenses scandal. May will have known about this. So the sudden call for a General Election breaking all her promises - she's scared of losing her majority when up to 24 Tory MPs are disqualified. She had to make the announcement before the DPP's - so that explains the rush. Sounds feasible.

As a Brexitier, I see the potential for back tracking from the Tories and tactical voting for UKIP is the only way to arrest that. Labour, the Liberals and the Greens only want over turn the Referendum result. We have to move to the right this time for the sake of Britain's immediate future and long term prospects.

He was never here to start with. He has tried and tried and tried to get into parliament and failed every time. I am not knocking what he has done with ukip in terms of brexit but for someone who has never been elected to parliament he seems to think he is a hell of a lot more important than he actually is. Saying all of that if he was to win a seat somewhere seeing TM verbally slap him down to size in the commons could be entertaining

As some of you know, I like a bet. I'd be very interested to see the odds for the Green Party making it to at least 3rd most popular party (not to win) as huge numbers of disaffected voters look for an option that will make themselves feel better about voting for someone as a "wasted" vote, and for odds on one of the lowest turnouts in history as the populace rejects having to take responsibility for their vote as in the Referendum, which produced a winners v losers mentality that was never felt as keenly after a General Election (except in some excitable quarters). In a General Election like this one is going to be, it will be easy to say "I didn't vote for them" whoever gets in, thus removing oneself from any responsibility if Brexit goes t**s up.
Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry. |

Personally I feel slightly nauseous at the thought of politicians attempting to gain our favour with lies, misrepresentation and grandstanding once again, so soon after the Referendum.
