Hennessy Unfortunately Klippity won't want to lose to us at Anfield again. I think he'll really have the bin dippers fired up so 3 - 1 to the 'pool.

Liverpool struggled to beat WBA at the Hawthorns, who we beat 2-0 up there. Liverpool have also recently been beaten by Hull and Swansea, while only drawing with Sunderland. Yes, Anfield has a reputation, but this isn't your father's Liverpool. We have seen them crater under pressure against us (#PulisChuckle), they are more injury-ravaged than we are and we are in top form. If they don't score quickly, the crowd will get restless. They are ripe for a Big Samming. I am expecting nothing, but better than nothing would not be a shock, either. The other way, a loss - even a big one - doesn't hurt us.
We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football. |

There should be a few goals in this game, both teams are struggling with defensive players being injured/unavailable and let's face it, neither defensive has been great this season. Definitely a 'more than 2.5 goals' game in my mind.

That includes shipping 3 against Southampton (bad) but holding Arsenal to nil and Chelsea to 1. I see Liverpool struggling to break us down without Lallana and Mane, but our front 4 of Benteke, Zaha, Townsend and Cabaye are all in rich form currently. As for our makeshift defense, if Tomkins is back, it's only swapping out Sakho for either Kelly or Delaney. It's a loss, but it's not like earlier this year when we had 3 of 4 first-choicers missing. It's not even as bad as the Chelsea game when we lost 2 CBs to injury in the same game! I will be surprised if we don't score; I won't be surprised if they don't.

A draw would be a very good result for us. But its Liverpool, on TV, and they're in need of all the points, whilst we can counter like no ones business so if we can avoid going one down in the first half, who knows, maybe its three points, and the fat lady is testing the chords.

Well they were in need of all the points when they came to Selhurst and pi**ed away a three goal lead in ten minutes flat. We also turned them over at Anfield on Saint Gerrard's Day. so no matter how fired up the may be we can still embarrass them.
