Impressive, because even Ray Charles could see that one coming, and he's blind and dead.

Having failed at football , i reckon he will offer his services to teresa May as a special adviser on Brexit.

failing that,

the next President of France , Par Dieu

Well Part-Dieu of course is the name of the principal railway station in Lyon. I wouldn't let him operate trains though.

I think Pardew will start strongly and going into the first advertising break people will thik he's playig a blinder

But then, after the restart something will happen. I can't put a finger on it. But every joke will fall flat, and his anecdotes will flounder.

He'll go into a spin then, and won't be able to pull out, mainly because he refuses to recognise it. He'll make some baffling changes to his repertoire

Eventually the producer will be forced to replace him.

He's been on nearly 40 mins and not a word about Palace yet apart from saying we are a team that fell apart on set pieces this season.

Then was very quick to mention we had a specialist set-piece coach (Millen I assume) that was not him!

Hold on, a bit more on Palace now.

Pardew says he's "very disappointed" he was not given the opportunity to improve the team during the transfer window.

Said no cover at left back was a killer after Pape's car crash.

Says results did not improve under BS until his signings bedded-in.

Okay Alan, but would you have brought those players in? or would you have signed more of the likes of Mutch, Chungy, McCarthy etc.....

Did you deliberately miss out Benteke and Townsend

Yeah but let's be honest Townsend was not playing for Pardew so can't count him he has only started showing what a good player he is since Sam has come in.

Townsend was s***e until Sammy Lee sorted him out. Pardew had no idea how to get a tune out of Townsend. He managed to get Benteke to deteriorate as well. It would make no difference if he had signed Messi and Ronaldo, he would have turned them into s***e as well.

Giving him the January transfer budget to Pardew would have been dangerous but letting him "develop" the squad any longer would have been suicide.

Hang on. You want to give Pardew props for signing two consecutive record transfers for CPFC?

What a spot Benteke was at £32m! Where did Pards spot him?

A club our size need some bargains in the transfer market, some diamonds in the rough, and in that capacity Pardew utterly, utterly failed.

I think he did alright recruiting Townsend. He just failed to train him properly. Benteke was probably just about the going price but again failed to train him properly. All the rest - s***e.

Selling Jedinak was a bad idea given that he did f*** all to replace him. Does anyone really think he would have recruited Milivojevic? Could he have gone to Klopp and asked for Sakho? No.

He was a bad transfer operator but a f***ing appalling squad trainer and his tactics were bollocks too.

Add Tomkins to the sh1te under Pardew, better under Sam and Sam.

Add Hennessey as well.

Oh and Kelly.

And Wardy.

And Cabaye.

And Puncheon.
