Would your proposed tax breaks be greater than the cost of paying people £10 per hour or equivalent?

it's investment in growth.

I would like to think what you lose in business taxes you would get back in income tax and NI, employers have to pay more NI contributions, PLUS the fact you would pay less Tax credits.

Businesses would be net even BUT people would spend more AND there would be more incentives for new start ups.

Tories recent budget plan to increase business rates is total lunacy. The high street is dying

Ban all electronic advertising from sports grounds (the ones that keep changing)

Anyone seen walking and using a mobile phone (in the street & road), if seen have to stand 'on the spot' for three hours.

Ban all half & half scarves.

The Champions League can only be the champions & previous winner, also a knock out competition. Europa League also knock-out.

Ban school children from using a bus when they can walk it in 1/2 an hour. Punishment is take their freedom pass from them for a week increasing every time done.

Ban adverts on the internet that appear within the article especially those over the writing.

Ban shops from moving their food/clothes about.

Make school children learn the laws of football.

Brighton have to name one home match a season for it to be obligatory for the fans to wear a Palace top this would always be against us if we are playing them. (No wearing anything over the top or change to the Palace top allowed).

Ban the idea of something being in or our of fashion

Ban unions.

Ramp up 'war on drugs' with arbitrary street executions of suspected drug dealers.

Curfew in some parts of London after 21.00.

Corporal punishment brought back in schools.

You have my vote for that one alone. I wouldadd that we would have to revert tp proper English rather than American dialect. Bring back the "u" and the final "re."

Doesn't that however perpetuate the problem of low wages. It was the classic problem of the New Labour government, in that it created 'new jobs' but they were s**t jobs, with s**t wages that left people worse off than being on benefits and were instead filled by service workers firstly from within the UK (part time, top up wage workers, students etc) and then economic migrants who benefitted from the exchange rate with their country making the value much higher.

There is no point in growth, if that growth is perpetuating a problem elsewhere - I think essentially you have to balance the interests of business entities with the needs of society and the people (well I don't my views are a bit more extreme but this is pragmatic me not ideological me).

Companies need to become entities that aren't the tools of generating profit for shareholders, but increasingly the means by which we deliver quality of life and life experiences to their employees. Otherwise, you end up in the situation where working is not a means of improving your life.

Two things should come from working. A better life than not working and an escape from social poverty. And the solution isn't to make being out of work worse.

Abolish as many ‘controls’, state interference and layers of government as is compatible with the provision of justice, law and order, defence, social welfare, and eduction. Thus leaving the greatest scope for the people themselves to determine the content of their lives.

I think it's a big elephant in the room personally

Businesses struggle because we tax them too much and people aren't spending enough

So tax them less and make them give staff a pay rise

Plus taxpayer will pay less in tax credits

It's win win - people earn more, business gets a boost

It also kills small businesses

Let's say you make £40,000 per annum as a small business and employ one member of staff on minimum wages.

Corporation tax drop of 10% (at a massively high end) - results in a £4k tax bill reduction

Increase in minimum wage by £2.50 per hour = x 40 hours per week x 52 weeks per year = £5,200 per annnum + Employer's Ni where applicable.

Let people choose where their taxes go...20% to NHS, 20% to Police, 20% education and then the rest split amongst your final 4 choice.

Simple; effective and a reflection of what the electorate really want.

Why should I bother breathing over manifestos when it is effectively cancelled by some pickled herbert who chooses according to the hair of Boris Johnson (actual reason voiced within LBC phone in two years ago)

Makes you wonder if 52% electorate REALLY did know what they were voting for with all known conditions AT THE TIME for Brexit.

I do, but my company donates regularly to donkey sanctuaries - I'd happily allocate my tax from MP's pay rises and decorating cabinet ministers offices to animal sanctuaries.

I'm a softy when it comes to animals.
