My point is that Stirling had said that without England (he left out Scotland,Wales and N Ireland for some reason) and America most of those who have since come to live here would be in a nazi mass grave.I simply pointed out that we also have cause to thank the brave Czech and Polish pilots who fought here whose compatriots comprise a fair number of those who have come to live here. NO It's because your opening gambit was Happy England Day or words to that effect instead of Happy St George's Day. I also agree with El Grande far too many Bank Holidays which are really only beneficial to civil servants & their Ilk, whilst the rest of us carry on regardless.
