Indeed not. They were quite good at whining about Countinho not getting a penalty though.

Yeah, it doesn't fit the rhetoric when a relegation threatened team beats one of the "top teams."

No mention at all

Imagine if Rooney had been on the end of that challenge

It was a bad tackle and of course it came straight after we had made our last substitution. I was quite worried that 10 men wouldn't hold out for those last minutes, but then to see him come back on, swop with Campbell and play on as a hobbling centre forward while Campbell went back in defence was a mark of what the team has become - a real team playing like one where they all back each other up and show some bottle.
A complete metamorphosis from three months ago.

Grujic slides in from behind, nowhere near the ball, studs first. I was livid when i saw the replay, could have ended Tomkins season.
Linesman saw it first and flagged, but ref didnt even go talk to him before pulling the yellow.
If that wasnt a red, i really dont know what is.

To be fair, watching Tompkins playing a number 9 was rather amusing. And fair play to Campbell, played well in the 10 or so when he was on. His play in the corner was great, 3 red shirts around him and made them really work.

did his job. well done.

it's the definition of a red card. you couldn't draw it up better. immediately after our last sub. completely intentional to get our defender off. wonder if klopp put their subs up to it. scum.

They may have spoken over their headsets, but Marriner did have the yellow out awfully quick.
