Agreed, Steph, that's what made it so great. He's not playing for Liverpool again, he knows that, I'd love it if he signs for Palace but I think he'll get 'better' offers.

I agree to some degree Steph but there are some subtle differences here - Klopp has openly said that he has no future at Liverpool so whilst I agree he perhaps should have kept a lower profile, it can't be okay for Klopp to say that and then expect him to act with total impartiality. If my boss told me I have no future here and loaned me elsewhere, I'd find it very hard not to enjoy my new place sticking one to them.

Looked at this at the time and wondered how on earth Carragher and Souness were going to give a balanced view - turned out they couldn't.
