Had to blink that it wasn't Pardew when he took off Benteke and brought on Remy, and then Campbell. Waste of time as neither were going to get much ball due to the pathetic so-called midfield just hitting high balls. Didn't seem to have any idea as to how to handle Burnley. Their breakaway goal by Gray was a template to how we should do it.

Yes, I too found the Benteke for Remy/Campbell difficult to understand, particularly as he'd substituted Campbell for Benteke against Spurs, when we needed a goal. Now a change that paired Remy with Benteke on Saturday would have made more sense. You raise a valid question with respect to the triple marking of Zaha.
Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |
