We can't win them all

I thought we were great again, especially first half. We clearly tired in the second half, Sakho going off did not help, and it seemed to affect us. Also Jimmy Mac was struggling a bit with fitness as he has been out for so long. Spurs are a top class team, i think they are much better than Chelsea, despite the positions in the table. We have still taken 19 points out of a possible 27, so we can still take great pride in that. We are effectively 8 points clear of Swansea with our goal difference, and there are only 12 points left available. We would probably be safe even without another point, but a win on Saturday against Burnley will seal it

Yeah, I agree with this. Spurs are a very very good team and we made them look distinctly average, particularly in the first half.

Play like this for the rest of our games and top half should be achievable

100%, Spurs are a top team at the moment and it took them a long shot to break us down. Coming away from Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and Spurs with 9 points is a good show, and theres plenty of teams jealous of that record.

A win for us on and anything but a win for swansea at the weekend makes us safe.

Considering they've scored 22 goals in the last 7 games and trounced a few 4-0 in recent times shows even after a quick turnaround, lacking match fitness, injury to one of our(loan) key players we kept to only conceding 1 goal against what must be THE in form team of Europe.
A 1-0 loss is very respectable against that lot. Especially as we know our points are coming from elsewhere.

Considering spurs are top of the form table ... are a bloody good side ... and are fighting to win the premiership we gave them a bloody good game.
Just to far after sunday's exertions ... but restricted them to shots from outside the box and the goal, well they go in are go wide.

Can't fault the lads, they restricted them until they started tiring.... 3pts against Burnley and Hull will make up for it.

I never want palace to lose but didn't mind that last night as I would love them to nick it from Chelsea , it was a very pleasing display against a really good side who have 3 of the most effective players in the league

Good first half, didn't take our chances. Didn't get out of our half second half and it had 1 nil to the Spuds written all over it as the game went on. Bearing in mind how they've been playing and they're second in the league, still a very good performance, as the thread says, we can't win them all, and we were playing against 12 men as well. How the f*** Wanyama did not get a second yellow is beyond me, not even a 50/50 decision, that c*** of a ref saw it, gave the free kick and didn't have the balls to send him off, even though if it had been at WHL and a Palace player he certainly would have. We move on, this was always a bonus game after Sunday anyway, Burnley is a lot more important than this game was ever going to be.
