Your making Burnley sound like Barca, their away record is piss poor, and we have way to much in midfield and up top for them away from home. 3 Points a win by two goals and safety by 1915 Saturday evening.

i hope your right

We are safe in my opinion.we will pick up more points anyway before the season's out and i'd be amazed if Swansea pick up six points against Manure and Swansea.

Swansea need 7 points to overtake us, so they can afford to lose only one game out of their remaining 4 (and hope that we pick up zero points). Despite winning at home to a somnambulant Stoke last week, Swansea have only that win and a draw (home to Boro) in their last 7 games; a run that includes losses to the lesser lights of Watford, West Ham, Bournemouth and Hull.

We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football.

It was a really challeging game against Liverpool physically and we were 'Away' so had to make the journey back down south and not arriving back until late.

At least we go from a 'Home' to a 'Home' game so perhaps this won't be the same situation.

probably been asked before, but would the team have flown to Liverpool and generally do they fly to games that are in the North West or North East?

Yes. I think we should rest our wingers, push Shlupp to the left wing (with PVA at left back). Rest Punch and play Delaney as captain. B.Sakho on the right with Remy (if fit!?) up front. Flamini for Luca too. Can bring the big boys on as subs (if needed)

Absolutely STUPID idea. We need to play the strongest team possible, get the win then we're mathematically safe (i think). We have both Man United & Man City to come yet so i'd rather us get the points now & rest players for the other game(s)

Yes they fly.
Believe they have used Eastern Airways.

Not being funny and I will back Sam but "energy levels" for these footballers nowadays after playing 2/3 games a week.!!

How do the good Tennis players cope.?

What about the energy levels for the Fans ?

Up to Liverpool Sunday having to drink 10 pints of lager, then down to Selhurst Wednesday, for another ten pints plus having to sing 'when I was a young boy etc.

Are these Fans expected to do it all again on Saturday or will they send a substitute Palace Fan.?

Thoughts.?

How many times was Tiger Tim a washed up fist-pumping pussy in semi finals tho? His body wilted by that stage but the superior athletes bodies' didn't. Murray was a late tournament wilter too in his early career. This is one of (but NOT the only) reasons why the best tennis players win tournaments over and over again.

I'm not completely certain we wilted by the way. Probably a bit but Sakho went off around the time we lost any grip on the game and so our ability to play out of defence completely vanished, so the ball just kept coming back and back and back.

8 actually because of their massively inferior goal difference. They need 3 wins to overtake us and for us to not pick up a single point. Bear in mind too that Hull would also have to get 6 points to go ahead of us and we'd need both of those things to happen at the very least for there to be even a sniff of us going down. If we don't pick up a single point from now until the end of the season we will probably still stay up. Beat Burnley and Swansea lose to Man Utd and we will be mathematically safe; if they only get a draw and we get a win we're 99.9% safe (they could win all 3 games 10-nil or something preposterous to overturn our goal difference). If we lose to Burnley and Swansea beat UTD, then things get a little more nerve-wracking but I think we're already ok.
