Bare bones today and not much on the bench. Team looked tired too. Not going to single out Delaney because he wouldn't have been starting if we didn't have 12 or so centre backs in the physio room. I think Sam thrashed a lot of the team to win 6 out of 8 and they look f**ked, but hopefully the groundwork is done and an odd point or two will see us safe.

Spot on we look absolutely done in, couldn't see us scoring at all today. Hopefully week off ready for next game.Respect to the lads but I'm just worn out watching the last few games.

Get it on-get it in-F**K OFF ALAN HANSEN!!

Maybe it's time. But we need to walk him to the door and thank him for everything he's done for us.

Delaney has been such a wonderful "Servant" to the club and has done much better than anyone expected of him. But we are in the PL and he is 36 this year - I'm afraid he is found very wanting at this level. Thanks for the memories but it is in the interests of all that he moves to "Pastures" new.

I doubt he was going to get his contract renewed at this point anyway, so don't get too worked up

Yeah it had that feeling after they soaked up the fist few waves of attacks and showed nothing. Then after 12 or so they're ahead. They were well prepared and targeted this knowing we'd be tired.

But f*** me nothing but a lace off the boots away from danger for most of the match and nothing else. F*** off Burnley. Get relegated with that sh1t hopefully next season. We're Palace, not Chelsea. W*** tactics.

Imagine if we didn't get Sakho in, the amount of sh1t we'd be in?

And then there's luka as well.

I think with this match we have to be relieved we're almost safe rather than in real trouble.

We would've been better off if we'd thrown the Spurs game but only 1 shot changed 1 point to nothing.

Pointless thread when we have no one else at the moment.

We all knew this would be Delaney's last season, so cut him some slack. 5th choice as it stands, he will be on his way out with the likes of Speroni, ward and Campbell come the end of the season. The old guard served us well, but time to say goodbye.

You think Ward will be booted out with offers for him vs costs of other right backs and others players? I doubt it. Maybe backup next season but I doubt he'll be sold. He's okay with decent defenders but both Delaney and Kelly spread the below what's required production around defence. Kelly isn't as bad at CB but 2 or maybe re weak players spread fast.

Yes, realistically he will stay as back up,we got to have decent competition for right back next season though.
