Instead of using this tragedy to further your right wing anti immigrant agenda why not look at the deeper issue of the lack of investment in housing stock and the infrastructure that goes with it. (how many houses would a billion odd quid build instead of giving it to the borne from terrorism DUP who would have backed the Tories regardless). Not only would I not agree to an amnesty for illegals, I would also say that anyone found to have been sub-letting their social housing (fit for purpose or not is irrelevant here) should not be rehoused, since they obviously have somewhere else to live and therefore have no need...... and if they have been claiming housing benefit for the sub-let property as well then they should be charged for defrauding the public purse.

It is about time that governments and councils started to have a bit of respect for the money provided to them by the taxpayers of this country, whether individuals or business.
