I'm just trying to point out that, in the eyes of the neutrals, we're not really in contention for the drop and that, out of the three contenders, we are seen as the least likely to go. This, of course, is not going to stop me crapping my whack until the fat lady sings.

If we lose our next two matches and Swansea win their's and Hull their's then that's it really. We deserve to go down. And the blame will be down to the players and not just one Mr A Pardew as, no doubt, some will try to do. Pards 15pts/17 games and Sam 23pts/21 in that scenario. No big difference. Not good enough all round considering the supposed big-name players we have now. But we won't go down so all's good.

Swans win, Hull, (and Palace) loose. All bets off anything could happen now. Tomorrow week will be very 'interesting' at Selhurst. Loose that and we may need to beat Manu to stay up
