I'm not a royalist but old Phil gave us a few laughs.
I'm sure many more of us could live into our nineties if we had access to the kind of medical provision he has enjoyed.

Blimey, I'm only 35, I wonder how old I'll have to work until before I can claim a state pension. I hope he takes up bowls or something to keep himself busy.

It was on the same visit when he asked “Are they going to put you in the oven next?” when he spoke to pensioner Barbara Dubery who had been given a foil blanket to keep her warm.
