Surely all the Brighton fans missed the last 10 minutes anyway and haven't realized that Newcastle ended up winning the league.

The quote of the day on NSC sums them up:

Yep, we were just along to your left with another smaller group of BHA. I was surprised by the verocity of Villa fans celebrating their equaliser. If they do that against us, I'm steering we'll clear of the Brum derby! They absolutely went mental not in a joyous way but a f uck you, aggressive hatred way. Like it was their Cup Final and we've had a long history of trouble with 'em. For a team finishing 13th with nothing to play for, it was a bit bizarre. Pure jealousy I reckon. Anyway, fair play to them. If we were in their position the Amex would have been empty long before their late equaliser. For a nothing goal in a nothing game I genuienly haven't seen such wild celebrations by home fans we were sat amongst. Had all the relevance of an Alex Revell pre season equaliser against Aldershot. Yet they went ballistic! Weird! Just weird!

Their best season in decades has been ended in bitter disappointment.

Well, true, but I was counting it combined with assists. Whenever I do this I forget to put aside only the goals. And it's better I think, because assists are just as important as goals.
So, Vardy has been a constant contributor in the lower divisions, therefore it came as no surprise that he would be one in the PL too, as long as he keeps fit (unlike Deeney for example)

Anyone looking to make their fortune could do worse than sell 50/50 scarves outside the Andrex next season. Buy a lot of stock.

Their home games next year will be the very definition of confusion.

Oh, and hang around outside to catch them on their way out anytime after 75 minutes.

Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry.

Only needed one win from three games to be champions, and then threw it away against a 10 man Villa. Might be the only highlight of the weekend other than Sunderlands performance.

If you can't laugh now, when can you? It would be like going a goal up against them and saying that we better wait until the game has finished before rubbing their noses in it. I'd rather take the piss now as who knows what is going to happen in our last two matches.

The problem with the new breed of Brighton fan, is that they see football in this sanitised bubble that has come from their move to the Falmer Stadium. They attend an away match, in the home end, and are confused when it's not appreciated when they celebrate their goal (and a Villa sending off).

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

Ummm.....he was a 21 year old kid when he was at Palace. He played 100 minutes for Palace, 200 for Norwich and 68 for Middlesbrough in the Premier League. Really no way of saying he's awful. He might do well in the future.
And he was in no way a constant poacher in the lower leagues like Vardy or Ighalo or Callum Wilson or Charlie Austin or Rickie Lambert or Glen Murray or Danny Graham. These guys all did well in the top league

The list would be seemingly endless.

We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football.

Beckford, Gestede, Gayle, Grabben Rhodes and Lambert all really failed to cut it long term in the top flight despite being prolific at lower league levels.

Notice how Cameron Jerome and Willbraham dropped down a level or two and were exceptional.

Its a very different proposition scoring in the Premiership to the lower leagues.

You'd expect a capable premiership striker to do better at lower levels, but its no assurance that a prolific striker can step up a level.
