I went there in '88/'89, i can't remember exactly tbh.
My best friend (at the time) was the son of Bob Graves who was, as far as i know, the creator of the Quantel Cosworth, a big V-Twin that had won at Daytona with Roger Marshall aboard.
The bike/team had been invited to do a few demo-laps at the NW that year so the three of us flew from Biggin Hill (private jet!), stopped off at Coventry to pick up Mike Costin, Keith Duckworth and 'Ben' (an engineer) then onto Ireland where we were picked up by Roger and his wife.
Had a fantastic weekend but the highlight was easily, and despite hardly understanding a friggin' word he said lol, a drink and chat with the late and very great Joey Dunlop. Legend.

No, i'll not be going this year, but thanks for bringing back some great memories.

My first time over tux.
Absolutely loving it, people so friendly, weather SUNNY (yeah in northern Ireland), and still haven't seen a pothole yet.
Shame McGuiness is out possible broken leg.
Highlights on BBC Ireland or RTL if can somehow stream it.

Not done the NW200 but have done the IOM, both TT and the Manx. The guy I spennered for won the Manx senior last year. Worked in BSB for 7 years and now given it all up. Loosing a few friends over the last few years makes your heart loos interest in it.

Good wins for Glenn and Wee man Ali Sealy. Not really watched much of it this year.
