Obviously you cant read. I'm not complaining in any way. I'm as delighted as anyone with the win. Lets not start telling ourselves little fibs it was a great performance though. We were not great and on another day things would have been a lot different. We won which is all that matters but it was hardly a classy performance and the scoreline flattered us no doubt
The exact words you used were "uncommitting", "unambitious" and "dull". If we were that we would have sat at the edge of our box and repelled boarders for 90 minutes to grind out a 0 - 0 draw, with no answer to the risk of conceding. Instead, we came with a plan which we executed perfectly; we wanted three points with no risks, which is exactly what we got; we hit them on the break and forced errors from them, which I find exciting, but you apparently do not; and we conceded zero shots on target against 70% possession, so "solid" is a bit of an understatement. We might not have beaten Barcelona with that performance, but we were not playing Barcelona. Against Hull it was much more than the minimum required. It was also a vast improvement on the previous two games. How can you think Schlupp was s***e? How was he constantly helped by Townsend after Townsend had gone off? Utter nonsense.
You've ignored the massive pressure that match was played under, too. Our most important match for six years, arguably. When have we played in such circumstances and not spent the last half hour peering out from behind the sofa?
I can read perfectly well, thank you and you are talking out of your arse.
