Yeh bit slow last night. My back was up after reading a s***e article linking him with a return to Newcastle because of a tweet congratulating them on promotion. I mean ffs! Would be gutted if he left, he makes us tick. It's gone to s*** a few times this season when he's gone off/ been injured.

It's so exciting to think what the 11 who started v Arsenal could do if augmented with a couple of gems. Cabaye, Luka, Wilf , Benteke and Sakho are all bits of that jigsaw.

It would be great if they saw / believed that too.

I think Cabaye is a player of such great importance that he cannot be replaced.
I see people praising Milivojevic and Sakho, but Cabaye is the real engine of the team. He does it all: run, press, recover, cover ground, assist, appear behind the main striker, score goals......
Without him....it will be a real tough battle to avoid relegation.

And why sell a 30 smtg year old player? For a lousy 5-7 million? Just give him the money he wants and let him stay.
For me, Cabaye is Iniesta level

you go a little too far but i agree with your premise. look what happened when he and tomkins were out. sam finally getting the most out of him. stupid pardew had him in the wrong position.

there's no reason to sell him: he's too old to be wanted by a big club.

going to france, you could see, to play in champion's league. PSG = no. monaco and nice = definitely no. maybe marseille if he really wanted europa.

he really has no leverage for anything. a very good starting player for us who should stay. in fact, we really don't have a solid player to push competition. need good cover for him. and that person is not mcarthur.

Thought he was a waste of space for many a month, however as time has passed his impact on the team has become more and more apparent. Its his constant pressure on the ball that impresses me the most and when he gets it, how he uses it. We look a whole gear short when he's not in the team, we have to offer him a fair deal to keep him IMO.

1/6/2010.a new era.we made it everyone!!!lets get the ball rolling for another 105 years of proud history.thank you cpfc2010.

Not the McArthur of the last few games but a fully fit and injury free McArthur could be.

They are completely different.

I love Jimmy but he can't do what Cabaye does.

Employee of the month is a good example of how someone can be both a winner and a loser at the same time.

Don't be delusional, we all know Cabaye is better than Iniesta and Messi.

Cabaye is worth more to us, than he is worth now imo. He might not beable to play every game of next season due to his legs, but he's by far our best creative player.

HE has looked a different player un Sam and Sammy.
Used in the right areas he is one we should keep subject to his injury situation - he looks permanently injured to me??

Whoosh, I wonder if the SAMS can turn him into a world class player like they did with Andros and Others.

i can see him as a cup guy. i don't really rate him as others do so i'm obviously biased. i just don't see him as the same type of player as cabaye - not as dynamic or impactful.

of course, mac doesn't commit the stupid penalties but i can live with that.
