The way the premier has evolved, there are now 7 clubs sitting comfortably at the top. So our best hope next season will be to get into 8,9 or 10.
The top 7 are getting stronger and stronger.
With our excellent management and shareholders, if we buy and sell well and we are luckier with injuries than our rotten luck this year then this is totally achievable.
We are in a great place now, but we really need a new 40,000+ seater stadium to challenge the top teams over the next 5 years.
Chelsea, Tottenham Arsenal Man U Man C Liverpool Newcastle and for sure Everton will soon all have 60,000+ seater stadiums.
Stadiums are becoming a bigger and bigger part of the top level.
If management can get us back to our home two miles away then we really can become a top team. It won't be easy, but when have SP, SA and all ever done easy.
I am optimistic these guys will take us all the way now.
Things are looking very bright.
